We made vehicles with wheels which turned. We used the forces of pulling or pushing to make the vehicles move.

Exploring magnets

We put paper clips on paper cars. We used magnets underneath the race tracks to make the cars move. What was the magnetic force attracted to?

Here we are using the parachute to learn about air resistance!

Rimu has been learning about the force of friction. We made shoe prints and predicted which shoes would create the most friction and have the best grip on a slippery surface.
