Swimming fun

Today we had our first school swimming sports! It was lots of fun. We were running across the pool, pushing balls, floating with kick boards and even trying freestyle! To finish, we practised The Three Cs during free swim time.

Ash Wednesday

Today is Ash Wednesday, which starts Lent. We prayed in Church and ashes were marked in a cross on our foreheads. Lent is a season to get ready for Easter. During this time we grow closer to Jesus with even kinder words and actions.

Keeping Safe

We are learning about keeping safe at home, in the community or on farms. Today we focused on road safety, poisonous plants, neighbourhood watch, emergencies, safety around dogs and using quad bikes when we're old enough. Thank you to all our presenters!
