Visit by Tim Bateman

On Thursday we met an inspiring, famous rugby player called Tim Bateman. He always tries his best and so do we!

The Last Supper

We are learning about Holy Week. We know that Jesus shared his last meal with his special friends, the Disciples.

St Patrick's Day

On Thursday, we learned all about St Patrick and how he used a shamrock leaf to explain the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  We know that our school and parish are named after him! We celebrated with Mass and then lots of games in our House groups.
Here we are, next to our school's statue of St Patrick:

Our biblical meal

Today we dressed in clothing from biblical times and brought foods for sharing.  We learned to eat as Jesus would have, without cutlery and using our right hands only.  We know that the milk (and its cheese and yoghurt) would have come from goats and meat was only eaten on special days.  We learned about dried fruits.  The Grace only mentioned God - why was that?

Swimming lessons started today!

We are so lucky to have instructors to help us. Here we are getting ready for our activities in the water.
Then we find our word of the day on the walk back to school - can you read it?

Our first swimming sports!

What a special day! We played games in the pool, floated with kick boards and had a free swim at the end.
