We completed our water and ice studies with a junior school visit to the Christchurch Antarctic Centre, learning lots about life on the coldest, driest, windiest continent on earth! On the way back, we had lunch and play at The Groynes - a lovely finish to the day and to the term.

Looking after living things
Sophia showed us her precious pet rabbit called Sparkle. We learned how to care for her.
Fran has enjoyed watching the daffodil bulb that she planted at school, grow into this beautiful flower. The wonders of Creation are all around us!
We are also learning to look after ourselves and others, as we are special, unique living things too! Here we are having fun exercising our bodies to keep healthy and fit. Mia is visiting from preschool.

Run, Run, As Fast As You Can...
What fun we had making and eating 'gingerbread men' last week, following the instructions in our Big Book and acting out the story.
